Heaven Awaits

Heaven awaits the formulation of
A repentant lost sinner's prayer
Where Angel's stand in attendance too
The change that's taking place there
And the Holy Spirit's on full alert
To bring the wanderer home
Where faith's applied through the Wotd of God
Finding Christ as its Cornerstone

Now the atmosphere of heaven itself
Find rejoicing in that matter
As a lost soul repents and believes
Securing life for in the hereafter
And faith takes hold in glorious fashion
To save a wretch like me Salvation approved by God Himself
Through His Spirit bearing witness in me

Now my heart generated with praise
Sings the song of a soul set free
In highest regard for the blood of the Lamb
Shed for me at Calvary
Though my sins were red as crimson
To cover the stench of my sin
Lord Jesus's precious life saving blood
Has brought me full... cleansing within

Hallelujah I still raise my Hallelujah's
As an expression of the joy that I felt
I cannot keep it in silence anymore
That story just has to be telt
Now... I'm still here in good standing...standing!
A result of someone's answer to prayer
Who knows if I'll ever find out this side of Heaven
But praise God I'll definitely be finding out over there!
