Heaven Has Vaults Of Empty Time Poem by Mark Heathcote

Heaven Has Vaults Of Empty Time

Heaven has vaults of empty time.
It holds every kind of weather.
Storms call with a calm deceit.
Rainclouds cried about a once distant yesterday.
But still, change the weather.
To join the tears in your eyes
And say they feel as though
The world has left to a certain extent
A curtain froze across the starlight.
There are snow blankets also.
Unbroken clouds melting away
You want to squeeze together.
And make love songs.
And make rainbows from your arching throws.
Heaven has vaults of empty time.
It holds every kind of weather.
But at times it's just divine.
When I'm with you and the sun
It shines without work without any lies.
