Heaven-Human ambition
Saturday,5th September 2020

"I shall prefer heaven"
when I am gone!
even though I have done
nothing special for anyone

what makes me unhappy?
while praying to an almighty!
it is unusual on my part
to seek blessings for having made no good start

what do we think about heaven?
why do people seek it often?
is there only enjoyment and no pain?
the belief, for such an ideology, remains the same

for the whole of the life
they lived an immoral life
deceived so many and pushed many aside
took a shortcut and never abided rules

we didn't make the earth a heaven
but remained desperately driven
"enjoy life as it is given only once"
such tendency has given us hope for another heaven
