Heavenly Old Age Homes

Heavenly old age homes
Thursday,10th May 2021

Even though, it has a cursed title
The disgrace label can't be wiped out from the memory
it speaks about the ungratefulness shown by the children
and a lot more is silently spoken

many kind hearts have thought over
to provide the shelter
for such a parent
who have nowhere to present

at least some care function is taken over
by non-governmental organizations to take care
provide them mental relief
and strengthen their belief on human ground

in India and elsewhere
the same scene can be witnessed everywhere
where parents live in old age home
and believe it has been done with god's grace

it is hurting and seems treacherous
to imagine as homeless
and feel sorry for the dejection by the loved ones
and stay in old age homes

yes, many stay happily
spend their time in prayers and stay worry-free
yet that mental wounds can't be healed
the disrespect and attitude can't be concealed

I salute all those
who have chosen to serve
the old people at this home
with the warm welcome
