Heavenly Purity Poem by Christopher Cariad

Heavenly Purity

Rating: 5.0

Traveling though this damaged wood,
Passing the broken bottles and trash
That took away from natures life.

Ending purity
In a place that was ripe.

Pushing myself past the thorny hedges,
Through the barriers and obstacles set.
Finding a fairy-tale moment
In natures face.
I stand in awe of such beauty and grace.
Listening to the waters trickling,
Plays a heavenly song within my brain.
Displaying the vibrant colors,
As the animals gather and rejoice
At the creek bed below.
I find myself filled
While staring at this heavenly face.
Just another beauty
In the mess of life,
Looking through
These Godly eyes.
