You've come to this country
With its 'Welcome' mat out,
Knowing English we speak
And founders' faith, no doubt.
You're free here to worship
And use your native tongue.
We fought for that right and
To liberty we clung.
BUT....
Don't try to block our faith
Or prevent public use.
We will not hide our light
In fear of the abuse.
AND....
Learn to communicate
And get along with us.
Reading, writing, speaking
Our language is a must.
