Her Choice Poem by Randy McClave

Her Choice

If the government told me that my body wasn't mine
I would tell them that they had crossed the line,
My body is mine belonging only to me
It is my own private "KEEP OUT! ", property.
If I wanted a tattoo or a shaved head I can
If I want piercings I'm able to because I'm a grown man,
And if I want a circumcision that's my calling
If they don't think that I can do that, then we'd be brawling.
It's no one's business what I do to my body
I can add or remove or make it refined or shoddy,
Scream all you want with Christian or political voices
Remember this, it's mine and my decisions and choices.
Also remember a woman's body is hers and not mine or yours
She decides it's directions and the fixes and the cures,
No matter of another persons thoughts or views
About her body, only the woman should choose.
