Her Kiss - Poem by James Jarrett

Our moment of love
Transcends all
That I want in life
Her kiss
is
All that I need in life
Her kiss,
Without that
I am nothing
She makes me who I am
And a better man for that
She takes my desire for war
And tempers it with reason
Takes my desire to kill
And tempers it
with
A kiss
She makes me
A man who cares
By her love
She becomes
All that I want
And
In the end
All that I need
