Her Naked Face Poem by Jessel Jane Tevar Toring

Her Naked Face

The naive curve of her lips
is embroidery in my thoughts;
the benighted look of her eyes
enchants me as if I were bewitched,
I got lost wandering in them.
When all others seemed blushed red,
her face was naked -
no colour of life's beauty
could outstand her pristine face;
I implored it till
it spreads into my mind
like a spilled ink,
spoiling me...
I was completely beguiled.
