Her Room Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Her Room

Rating: 2.8

I entered her room
She was at full blossom
Whole of garden had nice fragrance
She was the one smiling at me for chance

I liked her from the beginning
Her face was like rose and shining
She had full round mouth to appeal
Teeth were like granules

I was damn wild
But she reacted mild
She was of course willing
But resisted desire for fulfilling

I realized danger from near vicinity
She was fearful of almighty
She wanted love but not lust
As she had full trust

She grabbed my hand
Expressed willingness to be true friend
I realized holy aspect of it
She was delightful and right

We talked at length
But did not breach privacy even by an inch
It was love through eyes
That did everything to try

I wondered at her cool approach
She was active and submissive as such
Her honor was at the hands of circumstances
But we realized it and slipped the chance

She and I explored all aspects
We were sure of our acts
It did not malign in our intent
We wished to live honestly in present circumstances
