Her Smile Poem by Ryan Leonard

Her Smile

When the past is long forgotten
And I gaze upon her now
She shares the softest smile
Recounting unmade memories
One could say we dream alone
Of lives lived together
For fear of loneliness haunts all
And fleeting youth escapes us
But something in her smile gives hope
Wordless lips that speak the truth
Tell tales of better tomorrows
Promising passions unknown
And love unseen
