A wave of sorrow is her song
each note from her broken heart formed
she's sung the same song for so long
getting the tune from where love stormed

a song of sorrow, not regret
from all those sweet tears that she's cried
a song who's words she can't forget
a song who's truths she wished were lied

like a siren she cries her tune
softly cries, like words in the dark
words that float on the light of the moon
leaving her soul naked and stark
