Her Word Once Spoken Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Her Word Once Spoken

A word delivered from her lips
No other brings them to their death
Spoken softly sweet without an answer
From a book of faith they only guess

She has become the light before the darkness
And none shall exist unless they borrow
One word is all she needs to render
It gives and takes away tomorrow

Drink with cheer to end thy worry
For thy hearts will break with light that flickers
Never believe you are her child
Her tears have made pools into rivers

Wake immortal from thy sleep
None weep long before the laughter
Though her word, laid thee to rest
She spoke thy name, thereafter

She is an Angel of all life
She is the end that reaps the season
The word she avers is thy name
For life or death, 'Her' reason
