Here Comes The Trustworthy And Truthful Poem by Mohammad Younus

Here comes the trustworthy and truthful,
As a messenger after Jesus in sick times;
Telling us how to find the straight way,
The way of those upon whom,
Allah hast bestowed His blessings,
Not of those who have been condemned,
Nor of those who go astray!

The caravan of messengers has been walking,
Countless miles since the times of Adam,
The length of road seems to be infinite,
As the ray of light;
He is a caller to ˹the Way of˺ Allah,
By His command, and a beacon of light!

He has come with the book of guidance,
The book of knowledge telling us,
Our story before creation,
When God called our assembly, and took,
A covenant from us:
That we will welcome the messenger, Mustafa,
The chosen one in the last times coming,
As our highly esteemed messenger.

He recites the Qur'an calmly and distinctly,
Illustrating its meaning to us;
Lo and behold, all its verses are about us,
Hold fast to this rope firmly, all together,
And do not become divided.
And remember the favor of Allah upon you.

It is still possible for you, like the sages of old,
To know God - his portents in your self, and,
In His other manifestation;
Follow the messenger - his Book and the Sunnah!
You will not die in confusion!
He isn't from some far away planet!
He is one chosen from you for your guidance.
