'Here's To The Loner Life' - Poem by Greg Oosterhouse

Here's to the loner life,
My time is my own,
No grumbles, no groans.

Here's to the loner life,
Listening to no nags
Or lugging heavy shopping bags.
I am blessed indeed!

Here's to the loner life,
No kids to drive me crazy,
Make my mind all hazy.

Here's to the loner life,
No one to fight with,
Spend a sleepless night with.
I am blessed indeed!

Here's to the loner life,
Do whatever I want,
Visit all the old haunts.

Ho hum, the loner life,
No one to make love with,
Watch the stars above with.
Sometimes I wonder if.

Ho hum, the loner life,
No one to do stuff with,
Have fun enough with.

Ho hum, the loner life,
No one to romance with,
Do a jiggy dance with.

Here's to the loner life,
With it I'm content,
No worry is spent.
God is always near!

Lord, there is none before, nor beside You.
Domine Deus, tu solus sanctus. Amen.
