Here, With You Poem by DM W

Here, With You

Here, with you, in this small, benign realm;
Where the roars of the town cannot enter,
We gently contemplate new worlds of light.
For we share a deep distaste of darkness.
May Love's sweet flowers continue to bloom.
Did my eyes first meet yours; or did yours mine?
O it seems such a long time ago now.
All I know is that you're my saving grace,
In a restless age, that has forgotten
How to kneel, and forgotten how to pray.
