Hey There Black Beauty Poem by Stewart The Maverick

Hey There Black Beauty

Hey there,
you are you. No ones like you.
A black beauty you are.
The sun smiled at your body and turned your skin into its own little chocolate factory.
Several shades of a dazzling dark complexion.
A black beauty you are.
As you walk, the view of your curves captivates the attention of all those looking on.
Wow they say, isn't she fine.
A black beauty you are.
People often underestimate your potential but they don't know that there's more to you than meets the eye.
Your intelligence allows your voice to be heard because you excel at everything you do.
A black beauty you are.
A warrior, a fighter, a lover and a friend. You are a black beauty who believes in the power of sisterhood
to uplift rather than tear down;
to encourage rather than discourage;
to dream rather than to fight.
Not only are you beautifully black butyou are you and you are...Black beauty...
Whose colour of skin is beautiful being black as it possess a symbol of power authority, and the confidence that you can do all things. you do not have to bleach to look like while for you may end up looking like a Zebra, you do not have to change your lips to red, as might look like an animal that has dipped its mouth in cold blood. Black is beautiful.
Black is beautiful, as it is a symbol of honor and modesty, black is beautiful as it is a symbol hospitality, black is beautiful it is a symbol of a beautiful continent, "Africa", and I know you are proud to be born black.
