Hidden memories of pre-birth
Buried deep in a cerebral yard,
Hidden memories of pre-birth,
Only to surface in sudden gusts,
Tugged by the subtle thread
Of recollection?
They rise as smoke, a mist in the eyes,
And disappear like dew at dawn,
Echoes drifting like fragile bubbles—
Familiar yet strange, like dreams adrift.
From unseen realms, faint voices murmur,
A scent, a distant note, a flickering light,
Summoning memories, vague yet true.
They shimmer like stars in hidden skies,
Only to fade like stars in daybreak's light.
What secrets do they try to tell,
Of where we were, of who we've been?
Like rivers merging with vast oceans,
Or the faint melodies of Alast that hum,
Leaving whispers, veiled and worn,
Hints of a home we once called ours.
