Hide And Seek Poem by Noopur Baruah

Hide And Seek

The indefinable scent of a winter morning,
where the city hugs the dewy air,
the road smoothed out like a bathed tuft of hair,
The Sun peaks from its cloudy blanket,
making its mind to bunk the day.
A slow paced morning,
the chatter of people fervourless,
dense fog engulfs like smoke,
the city counts till twenty,
ready for a game of hide and seek.
