I think I should just take these feelings,
Take them, and hide them.
Away from you.
Away from intruders
But most importantly

Away from myself.
Cause, when I let you down
I crash, I burn.
I’m not who I used to be
But I don’t want you to lose the person you love.
I’ll submit to the picture perfect image you have.
It’s going to hurt.
It’s going to kill me.
But, just another tragedy
in the newspaper
And, you can clip out the story
Of your friend
Who had a tragic end.


Better that,
Than a stranger.
