Highway To Hell Poem by Frank Sheehan

Highway To Hell

Rating: 4.5

Illustrious Highway
- - - - leading him
Down to Dante's Inferno

Lusting, smoking, drinking,
stealing, abusing - - -
all actions
that drive him
to depths of despair
while he thinks
he's leading the good life.
High, High, High
everyday and night

Pestilences destroying him
without cares, thoughts
Discriminations never muster
to determine retributions that
bestow by ignorance's light.
Tempting recriminations destroy
holiness; abundances never
manifest amidst clouds.
