Hitting Rock Bottom..
With you on that side..
With me on this side..
It's the gab between you and me..
It goes deeper that the eye can see..
It's the canyon that can't be crossed..
Without the connection all seems to be lost..
With you on that side..
With me on this side..
Without the strenght to build the bridge..
It's just a little glidge to make us shift..
Over the edge to meet rock bottom..
So easy this distance became accustom..
With you on that side..
With me on this side..

I.love.this.poem. By the way, you commented on my Let Me Be Me poem, and i decided to check out your stuff :) This is really good. The reader can really feel your emotion and it is portrayed beautifully. The imagery is spectacular, especially because it's figurative. I can really picture the scene here, even though it's not technically a scene. Marvelous
