You know that moment of release you get from being in the arms of the one you love
That moment they wrap their arms around you
And you just close your eyes
Take a deep breath and smile
Or that moment they sneak up and grab you from behind
And you just lean back against them

There's no better feeling than that moment of bliss you get from simply being in your lovers arms
Because in that moment nothing else matters...
In that moment everything else in the world ceases to exist
All that really matters is you feeling their warmth
Feeling their heart beat...
And if you're quiet enough you can even hear the steady thump...thump...
Rhythm of their heart

And when they are not there to hold you
Like you yearn for them to be
Do you ever just close your eyes...

Do you ever just close your eyes
And imagine them there doing just that...
Holding you
The way you want them to

Arms wrapped around you tight
With no intention of letting you go
And their sweet tender kiss that just
Lingers there... On your lips
A sweet caress that makes you want to melt

Do you ever just hold yourself tightly
Just to get something close to that feeling
Even though it's not the same
It's not even close
But it's just gotta do until
They are there
And you say to them

Hold me and don't let go
I love the way your arms feel around me
So hold me tight
Hold me...
Just hold me until time runs out
