Sacred Vows Poem by Althia Johns

Everyone wants a happily ever after.
A lot of them are looking for that fairy tale ending.
But me....I just want a simple happily ever after.
I'm not looking to be showered in gifts.
Or to live in a castle made of gold.
We can't forget 'all that glitters isn't gold.'
I just want to utter those sacred vows that will tie us together till the end of time.

'I, Althia, take you , to be my lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, '
Because there's nothing better than be able to share your life with the one you TRULY love.

'For better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, '
Because no matter what obstacles pop up along the way, as long as we stick TOGETHER and find a way through it TOGETHER...that is all that matters.

'In sickness and in health, '
Because God will trough many test at us to see how strong our love truly is.
When one falls the other should be there to pick them up... help heal them and make them better.

'To love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.'
Marriage is a gift from God that is not meant to be broken...
Something that should not be rushed into.
Marriage is a gift that should be cherished for life.........
Marriage is when TWO hearts become ONE.

'TOGETHER FOREVER TO LOVE ONE-ANOTHER.'
