Hold My Beer Poem by Quincy Moses

Hold My Beer

Hold my beer while i tell my story
If i get drunk on my words
Don't leave me alone
As i may spill some secrets which only i should know

Hold my beer while i clean up my mess
I was just called to testify
Because i brought out some feelings which were repressed
Now the romance in me has gone awry

Hold my beer while i say my prayers
These demons won't let me be
If heaven does exist, i want to be there
And watch my enemies rot in fear

Hold my beer while i draw my last breath
If this be my last write
I don't want to die in stealth
I want to be seen up in the sky like a kite.
