Holding On Poem by Jonzo Bandwagoner

Holding On

Rating: 5.0

You grasp my hand
For a balancing act,
I fear of losing your touch,
Your gaze.

I grip harder; no,
I'm not letting go,
Your eyes tell me you're just
Nervous.

But you let go. I unwrap
My hand from yours, your gaze
From mine; my heart, your
Heart remains.

Even if a balancing act,
Requires we let go, I'll
Still fall with you, down,
Down, down.

Hey, Jonzo, that's an amazing poem. It's sad but in such a beautiful way. You're a fine poet, Mr. Bandwagoner, a fine poet.
