Holding On Poem by Tobbie WhiteBird Crowe

Holding On

Rating: 5.0

For My Children

Crystals and unicorns
And elves up in my tree.
Fairies dancing with the moon,
They can't take away from me.

Rainbows and furry cats.
Dragon's flying with the stars.
The magic rain of early spring
They can't take away from me.

Dwarf's caves and gryphon wings,
And moon filled starry seas.
Gnomes laughter and baby smiles,
They can't take away from me.

The sky blue eyes of my son,
Sun gray eyes of my daughter,
Sapphire star eyes of my baby,
They can't take away from me.

Long golden days of summer,
Shorter bright days of fall,
Gray white winter may take me,
But I will always remember.
