Holding Onto Your Love Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Holding Onto Your Love

Living life on my own terms, doing things my way, living
thoroughly in each and every moment, roaming down memory
lane.

Heart alone, tears trailing behind, leaving traces of
your love everywhere we used to go together, special
graces and blessings flowing from beyond the grave.

There you have been taken, leaving me here on earth,
living without you, holding onto your love within this
heart.

Cherishing every moment we ever spent with one another,
always in your arms as we became one, our desires fill-
ing passion surreptitiously while we drew each other
closer every night.
