Hollowman Poem by Jamal Brown

Hollowman

Do you know what it means to
Be honest? How could you, when
Everything about you is a lie. Your
Soul is a dark as a moonless,
Starless night. So pretentious
Are your lies, unrelenting disguise
Creating tears in your eyes, your
Mind withers and you die.
Pretending to be something you
Are not, somewhere in the middle you
Are now caught. You've never seen
Who you really are.
You hide behind an invisible mask,
Because everyone but you sees through it.
The name given to you by your mother
Is not the name bestowed upon you by God.
You are doomed to forever be 'Hollowman'.
I can't remember the last time you cared
About anything or the last time you allowed
Yourself to be seen. My heart goes out to you
Even for the simple fact that you life is a hollow shell

ahhh spoken all too well-like a well full of wishes -and dilapidated mind -spinning into and out of the realms of time-the mirror and piece of themselves they see in you- to hallow shell eye get bored easily - so eye will definitely be back to see more- good job- bud! ! ! you are getting there -breaking thru the crust ---> get your fork ready -keep your hand steady like surgery - we dont have time to breathe - so let the river flow forth to thee for shepherds we shall be- just delivering messages channeled thru our hands- dip your quill - as you begin to understand-
