Home Poem by Alicia Roseberry

Home

i scratch my arms,
to see them bleed,
filled with hunger,
filled with need,

The warnings you see in my eyes,
best be heeded,
or you die,

humorless anger rises inside,
i would rather,
be hung out to dry,

the need to be forgotten,
the want to be alone,
the curse that was bestowed,

i cant live with all the anger,
im lost when im alone,
can you please remember,
cause i'd like to come home.
