Christmas lights seem even brighter
when accompanied by your smile
Christmas songs are more joyous...
Welcome back from far away miles

The family is complete as you enter
the room... hugs are a golden treasure
Your presence outshines all other gifts
Long days of separation fade into never

All the moments that we thankfully share
are etched in my heart… hours will not undo
Though I know your visit is not to be lasting
Distance will not diminish my love for you
