Homeless Poem by Babalola Jubril

Homeless

Rating: 5.0

I am a flow of water,
I don't have a home,
A place to reside,
A place to take a nap,
And prepare for the next journey,

I travel from north to South, west to east,
I can't find a home,
But to rest on the way,
Sleep on the way,
Wake up on the way,
Rise on the way,

I move into lakes,
lakes into rivers,
From rivers to oceans,
No place of rest,
I couldn't find a home,
But to flow endlessly,

I will sleep in my house,
I will wake up in my house,
I will start my journey i from my house,
If I could stand my own,
Stay still in my place,
Provide all provisions in my home,

We are homeless,
We have no place in our own place,
We have no friend in the friend station,
But to stay alone on the street,
We are orphans,

We will mark our independent,
We will have a home,
Our place of rest,
Our place of total freedom,
Only if we could fight the fight,
Rise again! on our feet.

I am a flow of water, I don't have a home, A place to reside, A place to take a nap, And prepare for the next journey, sorrow and the desire for liberation from the poverty and the circumstances. tony
