I Am Afraid Of The Future Poem by Babalola Jubril

I Am Afraid Of The Future

When I see the hidden knowledge,
Written on the walls of the society,
They appear boldly in the face of many,
Those knowledge; that can ruin the world,
Making the world sit on the throne of dilemma,

I am afraid of the future,
When Kids like me are called adults,
They are flattered by their size,
Deceived by Conditional wealth,
That will never last a seconds,

I am afraid of the future,
When our girls are called MAMA,
They grow into big size so fast,
That they are kidnapped by pregnancy,
Forced into motherhood,
With no knowledge of being a woman,

The world weeping and wailing,
It's been forced to the extreme,
The people are forced into modern slavery,
They yell but no one hears,
When I see these unforeseen bad nor good events,
Surrounding the planet, EARTH,
I hide behind the bird's feather.

Good poem. Unfortunately adulthood motherhood and the passage of time are Gods laws. But yes growing up can be scary.
