Honey: I Got To Break My Promise Poem by Tony Smith

Honey: I Got To Break My Promise

Honey, I know I promise you I was going to come home from this war, But it looks like I’m going to have to break that promise. I went and spoke to your father before I left, and he said to me “God gives a man a loving wife and children, So that he can have roses in the summer“. But Honey, You and the kids gave me a whole garden of roses. I love you honey, And tell bobby, Katie, Kellie, and Amy that I love them. I’ll look in on you and the kids from time to time. I love you honey.

Tony, you are lucky you had not only a rose but a whole garden. I wanted to have a rose but what i got are just the spine. We can never tell what's GOD plan for us. GOD BLESS.
