Hope Comes Haunting - Poem by olawale famodun

When hope comes haunting,
Anxiety is not spared,
Despair does like smoky garland
Thins into a fumeless sky.
And for diffidence
Are the battles lost,
When hope comes haunting,
Upturning the stage.
