Hope Is White - Poem by Joseph Conlan

Hope is white,
Like a calling dove,
Like the soar of a kite;
It helps you reach for the sky.

Hope is white,
Like the starlit night,
Like winter’s first snow;
It picks you up when you’re down.

Hope is white,
Like the surf of the rising tide,
Like a warm summer’s breeze;
It helps keep you calm when you’re mad.

Hope is white,
Like the peak of a mountain,
Like a soft soothing voice;
It can make a king of the smallest man.

Like the peak of a mountain,
Like the soar of a kite,
Like a warm summer’s breeze,
Like the starlit night,
Hope is white.
