Hopeful Expectancy Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Hopeful Expectancy

Silence in a noisy casino doesn't happen -
there is no peace - only hopeful excitement -
full of expectancy.

Until that is, you have lost all your money
in the slot machines and must now go home
broker than when you came.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Enjoy going to the casino to write poetry, it's a great atmosphere for diversity and leisure. Don't play slots much, so I don't lose money I don't have.
