Hopefully It Won’t Be A Bloody Massacre Like St. Valentine’s Day

With years gone by and no false 'hello' or 'goodbyes'
I will take into consideration that through lows and highs.
I have been the worst of a persons soul
And undoubtly this would win in a public opinion poll.
But ironically I won't say sorry for past things said
I'd rather be attacked by the living dead.
So thus a pardon comes to play,
And hopefully it won't be a bloody massacre like St. Valentine's Day.
Although, bygones are bygones,
And any sort of contact has been mutually withdrawn.
I say here now and silently,
Without acting violently verbal.
That I'm proud of what you've done
And I'm not showing sympathy after an unearned run
But the positive acts that you deserve from me
Heard by me screaming from across the sea.
I'm not going to say so long
Or write lyrics from a sappy song.
Instead I'll say, 'I'll see you soon.'
Whether in a day or at the end of June.
So take these words with you,
Just don't say that this comes from out of the blue.
Make them any weight you deem secure
And make of them any way that you can endure.
For I'll be here waiting for you
Whether it be in friendship or love, only you will be able to construe.
I've written my life's feelings and I now must leave
And let you know that I hold my emotions entirely on my sleeve.
