evil in wars atrocities famine accidents
disasters both seen unseen plague societies

spare a thought a prayer for those who suffer
spare a thought a prayer for fine young men
horror conscripted young men forced to fight

young lives forced to fight against their will
in Russia in Ukraine forced to murder men
forced to fight kill in war against their will

as politicians play hard ball conscript their lives
