Hostage
Most world hostilities initiate...
To victimize innocent people as captives,
succumb as prisoners of injustices.
These unfortunate detainees are deprive of basic rights,
and treated like criminals.
They are taken as inmates without due trial,
battered jailbirds and abused;
convicts turn unsung heroes.
