Hounding The Hound Poem by Chris Robideaux

Hounding The Hound

Rating: 4.5

What plagues the men of plagues
And wars, when the heat of the human
Grows beyond measure?
I have a hound who knows the sound
Of love gone forever.
I can’t see them, but I know they are there.
Who doctors the doctors
When Rapunzel has cut off all of their hair?
Hounding the hound would be
Just as fair.

A beautiful piece of poetry penned in heightened poetic diction to capture the conviction of the poet. A lovely train of thoughts, well articulated and nicely encapsulated into an awesome piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem THE PHOENIX STRANGLER.
