Hours Unmoving Motionless Writing Poem by Terence George Craddock

Hours Unmoving Motionless Writing

an expanding
mushroom darkness
seeking blotting
out mind spores
no desire to speak
rest time now forced seek
I try to stand my legs
asleep both feet

asleep hobbling
around can hardy walk
too much writ speak talk
in hours unmoving
motionless writing
fever fest feast
am I ill do I need a pill
is it long overdue time water to swill

once I was long hours
an active live wire
now only sleep rest I desire
doctor I need not see
time defined I know exactly
what is happening to me
