How Can I Poem by Chelsea Lybbert

How Can I

How can I learn to forgive,
Something that broke my heart.
How can I learn to forget,
All the pain and suffering I endured.
How can I make the past erase from my memory,
How can I forget everything that happened.
How can I move on,
How can I begin to relive,
My life of joy and happiness,
A life without worries,
And a life without mistrust.
How can I relearn,
To trust someone I believed,
To be totally honest with me.
How can I begin to trust,
Someone I thought loved me,
Enough,
For me to be enough.
How can I start a new life,
How can I start a new path,
How can I begin to understand,
Where this turn in the road,
Is beginning to take me.
How can I begin to live,
Like nothing ever happened.
When can I put my heart back together,
Without fear that it will be ripped from me once again.

These questions are the ones we all ask after losing at the game of love. The answer is clear, but the doing is very hard indeed. A fine rendition of these questions. GW62
