How Could You? !
how could you!
how could you enter my dreams,
since you reject this, my love, day by day.
how could you?
how could you fill me with such want,
like the summer with heat?
well, it won't go away!
and now, must i swallow or eat every word?
how could you believe they were lies?
how could you!
how dare you remain in my heart,
a proverbial thorn in the side.
