How Deep Is Your Love Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

How Deep Is Your Love

The mind spins webs in the dark,
threads of questions, fragile yet sharp.
Does love root deep, or merely graze the surface?
A flicker, a spark-how lasting its purpose?

Words spoken, like echoes in a canyon,
do they fade, hollowed by time's abandon?
Or do they build, brick by brick,
unseen,
a fortress of truth where doubt has been?

The heart offers what the mind dissects,
each glance, each touch, the mind inspects.
Is it real, or a shadow cast by desire?
a warmth, or just the glow of a fleeting fire?

Love given freely, can it endure?
the mind wonders, but never feels sure.
Questions churn, waves upon waves,
seeking depth in the love it craves.

Yet the answer lies beyond the thought,
in moments lived, not in battles fought.
The mind, a mirror, may never see
hoe deep love flows, wild and free.
