How Did You Get Into My Heart?
In the embrace of night
in the arms of my bed
tucked in the tenderness of sheets
i lay-awake
thinking-of you
I ask myself;
how it would have been
the person i'd be
if i never loved you.
I smile
and close my eyes
grateful that you loved me
sleeps calls my name
telling me you are waiting
but before i give in
tell me-how did you get into my heart.
