measuring the angle of her twists
or are you feeling the dancer's
body language riding the tunes
rubbing affectionately
onto the immeasurable surfaces
of one's unique appetite
while she fails to bring off clean
every rehearsed perfect turn

Spirals of imagination set loose
drafted with the artists' souls that bear
what cannot be calculated or proven
haunting their creations
with such distinct spice

without identically spaced ticks
to measure, to justify
however institutions attempt
to vote from their high chairs
a standard

People agree to call such state
of unquantifiable resonance
with pleasant reception
by a beholder
