How Far Are You Away From God

How far are you away from God
What's the distance in your mind
To what extent have you thought about Him
Have you given it any time
We can put up some barriers
That we think are of our own
But Satan wants to trap you
To rob you of Heaven's home

So give a thought about Him
He's but a prayer away
Let down all of your defences
He wants to be your Stay
The One who gave you what you breathe
Yes the very breath of life
How far are you away from God
Come close to Him tonight

O such a loving Father
Who knows of our deepest need
To have a relationship with Jesus Christ
Who is a true Friend indeed
And to have our sins forgiven
Such a freedom in our soul
How far are you away from God
Come today and be made whole!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
