How High on Your Scale

How high on your scale is God
Have you given Him the number 10
If not then you don't know Him
And if not then when will be when
Your days to know Him are numbered
How many old friends do you have
There's a never ending list of casualties
Who've gone to an early grave

We're to love Him with all of our heart
With all of our soul...and all of our mind
We're to love Him with all of our strength
That leaves nothing behind
To know Him is to love Him
He's revealed in Creation and the Word
Happy is the man who finds Him
For then His Salvation is secured

Have you not sensed His workings
For He has your best interest at heart
He's longing for you to be with Him forever
To accomplish this He's done His part
There's one grave that's still standing empty
That once harbored a Saviour within
But praise God three days after His burial
He was found to have risen again

That set my scale a soaring
For saving faith had taken flight
I saw my sin for its darkness
And traded it off for His Light
My repentance was yea and amen
I confessed my sinfulness to God
The Holy Spirit Hallelujahed that fact
And indwelt me where I stood!

Now I'm a 10 forever
That number will never diminish
For what my God has started in me
I know that He'll definetly finish
Every day... I now sense Him
For I and my God are now one
I know that I know that I know Him
For I have believed on His Son!

How about rechecking your scale
As to your faith have you been in a slumber
Then awaken your soul to righteousness
And increase your faith factor number
You've already breathed this morning
Guess where you got that breath
Wouldn't it be nice to know that One
That One who has conquered death!
