How Gossip Lives Poem by Randy McClave

Gossip lives when it's spread by evil doers
Those who keep their minds and their thoughts in the sewers,
And it spreads like a contaminant and a viral disease
With every gulp of air that the gossiper will wheeze.
Gossip is just a stupid person's story
Where they are in the limelight only seeking some glory,
And they live their life believing and giving only lies
Of course, they are the ones never known as wise.
They believe every story that they will ever hear or read
Then they plant their own gossip seed,
But, they believe only the stories that they want to be factual
When in fact, none of that story is ever truthful or actual.
They spread the gossip that they hear both near and far
And others add upon it, and they spread it even to the altar,
Idol talk and slander and hearsay is all that gossip will ever give
And the foolish and the idiotic and the ignorant allows it to live.
Gossip has caused more hate and sin that man has ever known
And those words in the mind of the sinful the devil had sewn,
Gossip lives and it always creates hate, evil, sin and fears
But, gossip dies, when it reaches a wise persons ears.
